STAND. RESIST. SING. Singing in the Spirit of Love

Stand. Resist. Sing., a resistance sing-along sponsored by area activist groups, will take place Sunday, August 9th, at 3 p.m. at the Amphitheater in downtown Cuyahoga Falls. The Justice Choir of northeast Ohio will teach a few new short songs and lead some familiar ones to carry forward at future protests, events, and rallies. Wednesday Demonstration, a local punk rock band will open the event, with performances by Kathy Johnson and by Barb and Bill Tuttle as well. Stand. Resist. Sing. is a chance for the community to come together in shared hope and resistance. Singing together offers support and encouragement in a time of fear, frustration, and sorrow. The goal is simple: to leave folks feeling empowered to act. This event is free and open to the public.
