DESCRIPTION:Join us on Monday\, Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron \nWe have a night that is PACKED with activities and information: \n5:30 p.m. DOORS open \n6:00 p.m. Greetings and announcements \n\nSpeaker 1: Antony Fair with Ohio Equal Rights (www.ohioequalrights.org) will speak about the citizen-led ballot initiative that proposes an amendment to Ohio’s constitution. Learn about the movement\, sign the petition\, and volunteer to collect signatures\nPerformance: Justice Choir Performance! We are VERY excited to bring the Justice Choir\, who will perform several pieces. If you need a boost of positivity\, you’ll love the Justice Choir!\nSpeaker 2: Learn about Issue 2\, a Summit County-only issue that will appear on the Nov. 4 ballot. It’s a complicated\, confusing issue\, and Rachel Madigan will speak to us to explain what the issue means for Sumit County residents. We know talking taxes isn’t exciting\, but this is an important issue that will protect services that we all need.\nUpdates from Indivisible Akron Working Groups: We’ll wrap up with quick updates from the smaller groups within Indivisible Akron!\n\nRSVP NOW
