Concert for Peace

Join Indivisible Akron as we host this vibrant and uplifting concert in beautiful First Congregational Church Akron with some of the best of NEOhio’s songwriters and poets performing their social justice works. Our keynote speaker for the evening will be Farhad Sethna, a local immigration lawyer and grassroots activist. Songwriters include Jim Ballard and The Strangs, Angie Haze, Nate Vaill, Grady Miller and Karyn Morgan, joined by poets, Keith Allison, Danielle Dixon and Raja Belle Freeman. Come breathe in/breathe out.

- 7:00 p.m. concert begins with performances by (not necessarily in this order)

- Keith Allison/Angry Cow Poetry poet, spoken word artist
- Raja Belle Freeman performance poet
- Danielle Dixon poet and artist
- The evening will be capped off with a performance by Jim Ballard and The Strangs.
Tickets: $10 online, $9 each for groups of 5+, or $15 at the door. Net proceeds benefit Indivisible Akron, a 501c4 nonprofit organization. Tickets are transferable but not refundable.
