Let’s Get Akron Voting: Indivisible Akron’s October Monthly Meeting

What’s At Stake for Education, Reproductive Rights & More

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Program starts promptly at 6 p.m.

We’ve invited a slate of presenters to help us understand what’s at stake this November. The goal is to equip all of us with talking points to help us talk to our friends, family, neighbors and strangers in line at the grocery store.

Here is a preview of October’s lineup:

• Dr. Lathardus Goggins: What’s at stake for Ohio’s schools
• Rachel Slater (Planned Parenthood): What’s at stake for reproductive rights
• Lillie Jackson: Freedom BLOC’s three ballot initiatives for Akron voters on fair housing, renter protections, and safety
• League of Women Voters Akron Area: Election protection opportunities with the League
• Bill Reynolds: Election protection opportunities with Freedom BLOC and Indivisible
• Wendel Niles: What’s at stake for Black and brown communities
