On Friday, Nov. 28 (that’s right, the day after Thanksgiving), Akron Heroes will return to writing postcards to swing states. This time we will be writing to Michigan, telling folks about the devastating effects of the Big Ugly Bill on rural hospitals. This is an innovative effort to educate voters about the issues.

We will be back at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron, 3300 Morewood Rd., Fairlawn. Again, bring enthusiasm, hope, and stamps if you can. We expect to hold weekly postcard writing events between now and the November 2026 election.
