Celebrate One Year of Progress: Holiday Party & Anniversary Gathering

Join us for a festive evening of reflection, connection, and celebration as we mark one year of powerful organizing and community building. We’re gathering at Art x Love, a vibrant woman-owned creative agency and gallery that champions local artists and bold ideas. Their downtown space is a working studio and gallery that embodies the spirit of transformation and creative courage ART x LOVE Downtown Akron Partnership.

Expect appetizers, light snacks, and an open bar featuring beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages. It’s an open house-style event—come when you can, stay as long as you like, and raise a glass with fellow progressives.

🎨 Leave a message on our Art Tree: We’re creating a collaborative canvas where you can write a message on a leaf and “leave” it for inspiration. It’s a visual celebration of our shared hopes, values, and momentum.

💛 Give in the spirit of the season: Instead of our usual pass-the-basket fundraiser, we’re collecting donations for Open M Ministries, a local nonprofit rooted in Akron’s neighborhoods. Since 1968, Open M has offered faith, health, and hope to residents across Summit County, meeting people where they are, from porches to clinics to food pantries.

Please bring cash, checks payable to Open M, or scan a QR code at the door to donate. That’s your “ticket” in (though we’re not charging admission).
