Akron’s story is shaped by deep racial divides, and too often, our community spaces reflect that separation. Questions like “Why aren’t more Black people involved?” or “Where are all the Black voices?” surface in majority-white spaces like Indivisible Akron and Indivisible groups nationwide. These questions deserve more than assumptions; they deserve honest, facilitated dialogue rooted in listening, learning, and our own accountability.
Join us for a hands-on, community-wide event where we’ll explore these questions and more together. With guidance from experienced facilitators and breakout group discussions, we’ll dig into the history, the harm, and the hope for a more connected and equitable future.
Let’s start with a conversation and turn conversation into action.
