Join the League of Women Voters of the Akron Area at 5:30 p.m. on September 23 for a viewing of the short documentary, “The Officials.” A Q & A follows, where you’ll hear from Summit County Board of Elections officials about the safety and security of our elections. Election officials don’t always make headlines, but they are the bedrock of our democracy, putting in long hours before, during, and after Election Day. Please RSVP.
